What are "PDF" files?

The Pine Rivers SHS web site uses Adobe Acrobat PDF files as a means to provide some documents in their original form.  To view and print a PDF file, you will need to have the Acrobat Reader software installed. Acrobat Reader is available for free from Adobe.

If your PDF file is displaying incorrectly or indicates an error , try upgrading your version of Acrobat Reader by downloading it from the Adobe website.

Opening a PDF

The PDF will open in a browser window once you have clicked on the link.

Downloading and saving a PDF document from the link:

1. Right-click on the PDF link .
2. Select the 'Save Target As...' in Internet Explorer or select 'Save Link As...' in Mozilla Firefox.
3. Select 'Save' and note where you have saved it.
4. Use Acrobat Reader to open the file.

Printing a PDF document:

From the Acrobat Reader toolbar choose 'File' > 'Print' or click the icon.

Adjusting a PDF document in the viewer:

1. Zoom in or out using the magnifying glass tool.
2. Scroll through the pages using the hand tool or 'Page Up' or 'Page Down' on your keyboard.
3. Use the scroll wheel on your mouse.

Note: Do not 'Print' our PDFs from the right click option within MS Internet Explorer web browser.
